This is a story about a fox name Mr. Fox, a crafty fox who steals chickens and other food for his family from three local farmers, Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. However, the farmers decide to put a stop to Mr. Fox’s thievery and go after Mr. Fox and his family, shooting off Mr. Fox’s tail as he hides in his foxhole. Mr. Fox’s family decides to dig to safety, but the three farmers aren’t going to let them escape and use their digging machines to keep up with the foxes. Eventually, the farmers decide to wait out the foxes and camp near the foxhole.

Fantastic Mr Fox Summary – Mr. Fox and his Family

Mr. Fox and his family begin to starve, so Mr. Fox comes up with a plan to dig a series of tunnels to each of the farmers’ farms, allowing them to have access to food underground. Mr. Fox also encounters a badger who tells him that there are other families hiding underground and starving because of the farmers. Because of this, Mr. Fox invites all of the families to eat with his family in their home. In all, Mr. Fox steals chickens duck, geese, bacon and cider to bring back to his home. In the end, Mr. Fox proposes the idea of them living for the rest of their lives and the rest of the animals celebrate their feast as the three farmers continue to wait above ground at the foxhole.
